About The Righteous Assassin

A MOB BOSS IS EATEN ALIVE BY TIGERS AT THE BRONX ZOO. . . .That was the fourth unsolved murder in four months – each on the last Saturday. The other three were even more unusual . . . .Could they be related? The victims share no similar traits and have no connections. Why would a single killer choose such strange and disparate methods? Why spread your victims across all of New York?

Each new murder adds a piece to the killer’s jigsaw puzzle, but unraveling the clues and finding the killer’s pattern may not be enough to catch him.

NYPD homicide Detectives Mike Stoneman and Jason Dickson have to stop the elusive killer before he completes his decathlon of death. And, they have to deal with an FBI profiler, who has been called in to help. Mike must also avoid being distracted by Medical Examiner Michelle McNeill, who seems to be on his mind a lot lately. She’s an asset to the investigation, but is this any time to be starting a romance?

The task force is racing against the calendar. Only one thing is certain – on the last Saturday of the month, there will be blood.

You will be swept along in this story, turning each page hoping for both the detectives solving the murders and rooting for the “righteous assassins” and who his next ‘worthy’ target will be. Because they all deserved it you are left on the precipice wondering if he is a right, but should he be the judge, jury, and executioner?
When it comes down to it I intend on placing this, my dog eared, much-loved copy of “Righteous Assassin” on my library shelves right next to my Grishams, which will look much the same. Amazon Review

The serial killer is very well-developed. His reasoning and execution of the crimes is as creative as it is disturbing. From one page to the next, you are rooting for the detectives as they try to find the identity of the serial killer. Highly recommend. Amazon Review

Great characters, fantastic writing, and a story that makes this book hard to put down! This book is about an old school detective hot on the trail of an elusive killer on the loose (even though he is sidetracked a bit by a love interest)…but I think everything fits together perfectly to make this book excellent. You will find plenty of detailed descriptions and explicit explanations which some might find distasteful, however, it certainly doesn’t detract from the story, so if you are one who complains when you find foul language or blood and gore in your detective/murder/mystery novels, don’t bother, just go pick up a cozy. If you are looking for a well-told story that rivals the best of the bestselling authors, this is the one for you! Amazon Review
